Oakham Leisure Club is run from Oakham School’s impressive Sports Centre situated in Oakham town centre, with free parking close by. It offers a wide range of sports and fitness facilities to the local community, including a fully equipped gymnasium, squash courts, tennis courts, fitness classes, table tennis and a sports hall for indoor football, basketball and badminton, as well as access to the School’s impressive floodlit Astro Pitches and Hard courts.
The 25m heated swimming pool is perfect for laned swimming and to hire for children’s birthday parties or for team aqua fun such as water polo. Oakham Swim School caters for children of all abilities, Adult, Parent and Toddler classes, Level 1 – 10 and Fit and Fun lessons are available for more confident swimmers. Throughout the half term and summer holidays, Oakham Swim School also runs Intensive Swimming lessons.
**We regret to inform you that due to an underground burst pipe affecting the pool, we are unfortunately required to suspend all pool activities with immediate effect until this is resolved.
As a result, lane swims and pool-based classes will be cancelled until Thursday 5th February at the earliest. At this stage, repairs are underway, and we are working closely with the relevant contractors to resolve the issue as quickly and safely as possible.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. We will continue to keep you updated and will confirm reopening as soon as more information becomes available.

The Oakham Leisure Club offers full membership (Swim, Gym, Fitness Classes and Squash) from £46.50 per month, £137.50 per term or £500 annually per person or one facility (Gym or Squash) membership from £70 per term or £215.00 annually.
Oakham Leisure Club now offer a Junior membership option for juniors aged 12 years upwards, this includes gym (at certain sessions only), family swim sessions and squash from £25 per month. An induction (by one of our gym team members) and parental consent will be needed to attend the gym within this membership.
